Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Creator of all, we delight in your grace and love! You gave your son for us, that we may understand the depth of your caring and the breadth of your Truth. How can we ever doubt your Word, when the Christ walked among us, lived as we live, and died so our past is forgiven, and our future, secured? You are a mighty God. Why then do we judge? Why are we at war with our brothers and sisters? Why do we think we know better than what we are taught in Jesus' life and words, your words? Forgive us, we pray. Help us to love, to give and experience grace, to embrace living in unity as communities of faith. Give us strength and healing as we seek your Truth in our lives. We ask in the name of the Son, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Dick Schultz |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | In the Cross of Christ I Glory | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
