* Call to Worship One: Come and join in our praise and song; Many: Let your voice be heard and your heart be filled! One: We come to give our thanks to God; ALL: To our Creator, give thanks and praise!

* Opening Hymn Love Divine, All Loves Excelling  Hymn #366 (all)

Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)
In the brightness of day we are filled with your light, and in the darkness of night we listen for your voice. Your steadfast love is reflected in the face of a stranger; your grace renews our broken hearts. In a world filled with fear, we can miss a gift you have sent us. In our hurry, we rush past the flower that blooms. We become blind to visions and reject what is new. Forgive us our trespasses, O Lord! Help us to see that your Word lives, and fill the gray of our lives with color and song. Forgive our sins of laziness and denial, and fill us instead with ideas and LIFE! Help us to not be afraid of using our gifts, whatever they may be. Lead us, guide us, give us listening ears for we are yours. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

(A moment for silent reflection)

Assurance of Pardon
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all.

* Singing Gloria Patri  Hymn #623

We Are One In The Spirit  Hymn #300 (1, 3, 4)

Prayers of the People & Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Anthem All Creatures of Our God and King  Choir

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
