One: God loves us and desires our friendship. So much so, that God sweeps away all those things that keep us from God. Let us confess our sin and allow God to draw us near.
All: Loving God, we know that we constantly disappoint you, because we are constantly disappointing ourselves. Yet you continue to love us, even more than we often love ourselves. Once again, we ask that you forgive our shortcoming by your grace, and renew us to keep developing as your people. In the name of Jesus, amen.
