Prayer of Confession (Unison) | ||
ALL: O God Most High, our bodies are perishable, but you have sent Christ, the promise of our resurrection. Aging limits us, disease burdens us, disabilities undermine our capacity to function. We are frail creatures at best. Yet we glorify these bodies, they are temples we worship. When some threat afflicts them, we are distraught or destroyed. We confess our idolatry. Teach us to number our day to Christ |

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
