Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison) | ||
Oh Lord, what a morning! What a day of joy as we remember and celebrate your victory over death and the eternal promise of your love! We are thankful for the gift of your Son, that he has shown us the Way, the Truth and the Light, and we lift our faces towards you in gratitude. It is so easy to forget the miracle you have given us. We get hardened by life and cynical in our thinking. Forgive us, we pray. Open our eyes, soften our hearts, cast away the darkness of doubt! Fill us with your great desire that we should live to love, engage with light, go forth with generosity. Let us be, always, your Easter people! We give thanks and praise in Jesus' name, Amen. |

For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
